Sunday, May II, 1963 Seniors Are Feted BONANZA Senior students at, Kenneth Bonanza High School have been honored at two traditional events, the junior - senior prom and banquet. The prom was held April 20 at the elementary school gymnasi um with music by Pete Colley's Band. Neil Totell, chairman, and members of the junior class dec orated in red, white and blue for ihe Bon Voyage party. The dance floor represented a ship end the stage, the upper deck against a background of water, sky and clouds. Flags, travel post- erg and a colored crystal ball in the horizon completed the effect Freshmen Diane Williams and Karen Schmoe served punch and Kathy Angel and Clyde Schmidt met guests and assisted with the coat room. Guests of honor were Mr. and Kirs. Richard Baldwin, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Dixon, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Freirich, Mr. and Mrs. Ketel, Mr. and Mrs John Lundbero, Mr. and Mrs James Morley, Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam Osborne. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Steber, Sandra Franklin and Larry Lund. Chaperones were Mr. and Mrs Wesley Dearborn, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scater, Mr. and Mrs. Le- Roy Fernlund. Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Nichols and Mr. and Mrs. John Harris. On May 4 Die junior and senior classes attended the banquet at Realties Country Club in hlam ath Falls. The senior class color and flower, lavender and the or-j chid, were used for decoration. Individual pipestem placccard fig ures depicted activities oi me senior members. Master of ceremonies was Fred Dearborn, who gave the welcom ing speecn vain response oy Wayne Lahoda. Guest sneaker was Dr. Cliff Robinson. Principal Charles Ste ber gave a brief farewell talk. CZECH CLUB MEETS MALIN Mrs. Anna Polivka entertained the Czech Ladies Club on May 2. Libby Sostak was a guest. Birthday congratulations were extended to Martha Broth- anek and Amelia Cacka. Games were played with prizes going to Rose Baley, Mildred Ramus Blanche Oliva and Libby Sos tak. Consequently, plans are qoing well for the first class reunion scheduled for Aug. 3 and 4, a banquet and family picnic and informal gatherings. Reservations have been made for persons liv ing as far away as Michigan and Mississippi. The three co-chairmen have invited class members to contact them for information concerning the reunion weekend affairs.
