Bruce Lattin was a member! of the forensic squad of Southern Oregon College which presented over 100 speeches at the Coquille High bchool on April 26. Dick Cottingham was elected president of Alpha Phi Omega, a scouting fraternity at Southern Oreson College at a meeting April 25. Also at Southern Oregon Col lege. Julie Bratton has been named to the rally squad for next year, and Linda Smith will serve as the president of the junior class. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wilson of Oakridge are parents of the bride groom, who is a student at OTI. For the ceremony, the bride chose a short gown of white satin brocade with long sleeves and round neckline. A bow headpiece1 held the brief veil and she carried a cascade of white carnations. Mrs. Robert E. Sweet. Merril matron of honor, was attired in pale blue nylon organdy, match ing veiled hat and carried a pink bouquet, accented with blue. William McFetridgc, Oakridge, was best man. Ushers were Perry Musselman. brother of the bride. this city, and James Bolinger, Estacada, Ore. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Fireside Room of the church. Mrs. William Smith, Pleasanton, Calif., aunt of the bride, poured coffee and Pamela Smith, cousin, served punch. The three tiered white wedding cake was served by Mrs. William Schweiger. Among the guests at the cere mony were the bride's great' grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Cotter, Sacramento. Mrs. Mathis is the former Lee Rebcr, secretary in Malin elementary and high schools. Her husband is principal of Merrill High School and they will make their home in Merrill.
