JOHN GIN THER and ton, Dan, Klamath Falls, and Donald Hodges were dinner guests of the Bob Elders on Easter Day. FORT KLAMATH MR. AND MRS. HARRY HATCH, en route from Santa Cruz to Portland to visit other rela tives, visited hero recently at the homes of Clifford Engle and Mrs. Harry (Birdie) Engle, Weston, and Wayne Engle. With the ex ception of Cliflord Engle's daugh ter, Erma Jean, all members of both families have recovered from severe attacks of influen MRS. EARL M. JACKSON re turned last week from a two-week trip and visit with relatives at Chehalis, Ccntralia, Mossy Rock, and Pe Ell, Wash. Accompany ing her on the trip was a nepl ew, John McCoy, Ashland, who has returned home. DICK NICHOLSON and Grov. cr Jones, from SOC, Ashland; and Douglas Van Wormer, Uni versity of Oregon, Eugene, were among college students home for the weekend. LOi'.EN L. Ore gon Slate Police, accompanied by his wife, spent several days here last week visiting from Baker at the home of old friends, the James Van Wormers. TULELAKE MR. AND MRS. S. F. TERRY of Fresno, former residents of Tu lelake who still have ranching in terests here, were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Ryckman and Mrs. Hildur Larson. They - were also present for the can dlelight communion service in the Tulelake Community Presbyterian Church Easier Sunday. - MR. AND MRS. KARL GEN TRY, who left some time ago to make their home in Paradise, Calif., will return here to live. They will build a new home be tween the homes of Mr, and Mrs. Charles Blumenthal and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Baghott. They have sold their home in Paradise. Mr. and Mrs. Gentry were among tome of the earliest homestead ers here. MRS. 1NGA HOBBS, mother of Mrs. James Stearns, has returned to Tulelake from Arizona. A potluck supper preceded the meeting, CLAUDE NEWCOMBE and his wife, Velma, who were instru mental in organizing the degree team, were absent from the de gree meeting at the Westside Grange Hall. He was taken to the hospital the same day. HOME EC CLUB met last Thursday in the grange hall with 16 members present. It was vot ed tc hold a Mother's Day din ner prior to the regular grange; meeting on May 4. It will be at 6:30 p.m. for grangers and guests. Refreshments were served by the hostess, Mrs. Raymond Cloud, following the meeting. MRS. CLARA CLOUD hosted the Needle Club at her daughter's home in Willow, Ranch Saturday afternoon. Sixteen members and two guests, Mrs. Alice Allen and Mrs. Maxine Smith, were present. MRS. BETH AYOUTT drove her husband, Joe, to Klamath Falls on Sunday where he took the bus for a Portland medical cen ter. MRS. SUSAN VINCENT had a relapse Sunday night and was not able to teach at the State Line School again. She has missed two weeks because of illness. Mrs. Alice Allen is substituting for her, MRS. CLEM MULKEY. high grade 4-H livestock leader, an nounced a 4-H Field Day on Ap ril 28 at 1:30 p.m. at the Charley Vincent ranch. Bob Savage, Mo doc farm adviser, will be present to show members how to prepare and groom their stock for exhibi tion. Parents of members and oth er interested persons are invited to attend. MR. AND MRS. HERMAN TY- LER of Tyronza, Ark., recently visited with their son, Hubert Ty ler, and family. They 'were ac companied by their daughter, Mrs. Geneva Teaque, and two children. FORT ROCK MRS. CHARLES C. MILES was guest of honor at a family dinner Sunday, April 21, In ob servance of her 87th birthday. She has been a resident here since 1928. MRS.
