Put the top back and they will keep a long time in the refrigerator. IDA DEAR POLLY My idea might help others with a crowded space problem. Our two children share one small room and the youngest child is under 2. 1 bought bunk beds and put a strip of wood down the center of the outer side of the bed. The other side is pushed against the wall. Two wooden folding gates were attached to this center support, one at either side, to make the lower hunk a safe crib for the baby. HOPE DEAR POLLY - On the shelf with my soap, bleach and other laundry supplies, I keep an old recipe file box. In this box I have an index card for each member of the family and one marked "miscellaneous." When ever anyone in the family buys new clothes, I file the washing instructions behind that personal index card. Back of the miscel laneous card, I file washing in structions for tablecloths, cur tains, and other household tilings. During the business meeting, Audrey Lewis was recommended for district deputy president for the coming year. Delegates elect ed to attend the State Assembly in May at the Dalles are Audrey Lewis, first delegate, Bea Matt sun, second delegate, Hazel Mc Neil, first alternate, and Lcta Stolt, second alternate. The thought for the evening was read by Sylvia Jones and a skit, 'Release My Hand Sir," was pre sented by Sylvia Jones and Viv ian Cunningham. Thelma Stukcl served refresh ments following the meeting. Pearl Designs Fit All Needs How familiar are you with the different types of cultured pearl necklaces? It runs from 24 to 28 inches and hangs almost to the waist. , Sautoir iropc' is an extremely long necklace ranging from 40 to 50 inches. It can be worn long and loose or looped around the neck many times. A sautoir has great versatility; it can be worn equally as well with day time or evening ensembles. Bibs are more than two strands of pearls worn at the same time, 'fiicy can be a number of strands fastened to one clasp or to clasps which allow a large strand to be worn separately. Cultured pearl necklaces come in many attractive combinations. It is important, however, to make sure that the pearls arc well matched and in good propor tion to each other. Cultured pearls, like other fine jewels, should be selected with a careful eye towards color, design and quality. Properly selected, they are unmatched for beauty and versatility. Aux. Slate !
