Al (UPD Alabama Atty. Gen. Richmond Flowers still is under orders to continue his investigation into al legations the Alabama-Georgia football game in Birmingham last September was rigged. The joint legislative committee, making a preliminary final report, said Tuesday it instructed Flow ers to continue his probe of the accusations contained in an ar ticle in the March 23rd edition of the Saturday Evening Post. The attorney general said he planned to present the committee all of the evidence he compiled on a three-day trip to Atlanta last week. In its short statement, the com mittee claimed "Georgia politics" was a "major factor" in the Southeastern Conference contro versy. The committee chairman, Rep. Alton Turner, issued a terse pre liminary report. The statement said the committee's probe failed to uncover any evidence last Sep tember's football clash between the two rivals in Birmingham was fixed.
