Grants Pass Team ips Pel The Koulh Giants Pass track team edged out the Klamath Un ion freshman team at Modoc Field Saturday afternoon, 67 1-3 to 54 2-3. The junior Pelican team picked un six first places in the meet with Scott leading the way with firsts in Uic 75-yard dash, the MO-yard dash and third place in the broad jump. Bob Williams got a first place in the 120-yard low hurdles with a clocking of 15.1. He was play ing in the baseball game simul taneously and missed the 70-yard high hurdles. Kurt Pelcrsteincr won the high jump with a leap of 5-H while (ilenn Wilier and Barnes tied for second. Mickey Bender rounded out the wins with a victory in the broad jump with a leap of 18-6U.
