Party Fetes Future Bride Barbara Hamilton, bride-elect of Eugene 'Jack" Padgett, was sur prised with a bridal shower Fri day evening, March 29, given by tlie members ot her Horizon Club. The event took place at the home of tlie club adviser, Mrs. W. K. Calloway. Acting as hostesses (or the club were Elisabeth Ough, Kathy Fleet and Dona Buck. The future bride's colors of lav ender and white were used at an attractive refreshment lahi.. covered with white lace cloth and noiaing lavender appointments. The honored piiest put hr L-o which was a twin heart shape fiosted in white with lavender lilies and the names Barbara and Jack iced in yellow. It was made and served by Kathy Fleet. Mary Jane Britton assisted at the tea table and Dona Buck at tended the punch bowl. Millie Clark and Dawn Buck i won prizes for games plaved during the evening. Other members and guests were Linda Greer, Nan Clark. Mikell Totton, Cheryl Reinmiller. Mar rianne Vanish, Bonnie Farr, Kar olyne Gattis, Mrs. Lester Tinker, Mrs. Arthur Anderson. Mrs. Rob ert Clark and Mrs. Galloway. A special surprise at the gift table were notes and gifts from two past members ot the club. Marie Briggs, attending Smith College, and Patricia Anderson. student at University of Oregon.
