Bixler of Keno has started a 4-H Club in leather craft. The name of the club is Leatherettes. The officers of the club are: Rex Trullinger, president; Doug Crandall, vice president; Judy Bixler, secretary - treasurer; Jay Bixler, news reporter; Stephen Powell, song leader; Sandy Crandall, game leader. VAQUEROS HORSE CLUB Officers elected at the Decem ber meeting were Linda Parisot- lo, president; Lee Holliday, vice president; Diane Colby, secreta ry; Dave Howard, news reporter; and Karen Rice, horse wrangler. New members in the club are Tom and Evelyn Zarosinski, Scott Johnston, Lonnie McGhehey and June Klinger. Monte Foreman is coming to Klamath County Fairgrounds on May 3 and 4. Lee Holliday and Keren Rice are going to donate a copy of Mr. Foreman's book, "Horse Handling Science," to the city library in Klamath Falls. The Vaqueros Horse Club has a big year planned for 1963. SPEEDY WEEDERS GARDEN CLUB The first organization meeting of the Speedy Weeders was held March 11 at the leader's home. Harry Hafter Furniture will have on display at the Cooking School some pieces of din ing room furniture. EAGER BEATERS The organizational meeting of the Kookie Cookie Cookers was held on a Thursday. The members of the club all voted to change our club's name to "Eager Beat ers." Officers were elected as follows: Genie Matlock, president; Betty Landon, vice president; Lisa Kent, secretary; Linda Kent, news reporter. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Eldon Kent, then the meet ing was adjourned by the n e w president. New members present were Laura Schroeder and Con nie Shelby. A meeting of the Eager Beat ers was held Dec. 6 at the home of Mrs. Wayne Yancey. The books for our club were passed out. The 4-H goals were discussed. The meeting was adjourned. The members went into t h e kitchen and discussed how to make potato soup. We each gave a demonstration. The potato soup was brought home by Mrs. Vir ginia Kent Cookies and milk were served by Beverly Yancey.
