'HUW.iiia DRIVE-IN OPENED Paul and Myona Wilson recently opened the -ub Urive-ln at the south junction of U.S. 97 and the highway leading into Chiloquin. Tho business is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. until 2 a.m. Masonry contractor for the building which was constructed last fall was Bob Mitchell of Klamath Falls. SCHOOL PATIO One of the unique features of the new Chiloquin High School is the large enclosed patio which opens from the student lounge. Surveying the area are six senior boys who hope to qraduate from the new school building. They are, from left. Five planes ere kept in the local hanqars, and the airport is used frequently by other planes and tor practice parachute jumping. Fifteen pilots and nine associates are members of the Orrgon Pilots' chapter. Flu Outbreak Spreads Westward ija , ,vssrr"- c yvl FINISHING TOUCHES With the new Chiloquin High School almost completed, plans have been made for stu dents to move into the spacious six-grade structure by March. The 59,000 square foot building will cost approxi. mately $572,000. Built primarily of wood with some ex terior design of brick, the school is located just outside the city limits at its southeastern tip, adjacent to the Sprague River. NEW TACK ROOM This western store "tack room" has been opened in Chiloquin by Ronnie Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. James Wright. It will feature western wear and rodeo equipment. When it is opened in the spring, the building will house ten washers, six dryers, and ona unit of two tubs for dry cleaning. There has been no laundry or dry cleaning business in tho town since last summer, and this will be the first sell-service unit in Chiloauin.
