Clawson Jr., this city, announce the engagement of their daughter, Beverly Ann, to Robert Dale Hodgins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hodgini, Ashland. The future bride, grad uate of KUHS, attended Southern Oregon College and is presently employed by a Medford law firm. Her fiance is a senior at the University of Oregon. Mistress of ceremonies for the sale kick-off was Judi llamnker. hairman of the year's American Field Service school committee. Mrs. Fred Ehlers. nasi presi dent of the Klamath Chapter of AFS. was the guest speaker and Dagmar Henry, exchange student from Germany, was special speaker. Other entertainment included selections by the KUHS full band under the direction of LaMar Jen sen and a comic panel composed of Fred Ehlers. Phil Harder. James Berne. Bruce Patterson and Don Piper. Laki Presbyterian Church was the setting for thp recent exchange of wedding vows be tween Kathleen Aulani Kangun and Floyd Taylor Stout. The bride is the daughter of Mrs,: Catherine C. Kangun and the late Miles Jacque Kangun of Honolulu. Mrs. Catherine Kangun was ac companied from Hawaii by Mrs. Frederick W. Colburn. grandmoth er of the bride. Also present for the ceremony was the bride's only aunt, Mrs. Peter Rohn of Seattle. The bridegroom is tlie son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd T. Stout of Klamath Falls. The bride chose a floor length wedding gow n of imported French Chantilly lace with neckline and bodice accent of pear's and se quins. A jeweled crown held in place her fingertip veil of illu sion. A strand of pearls was a gift of the bridegroom and pearl earrings were those worn by her mother at her own wedding. She wore two blue garters and car ried a handkerchief which had belonged to her great-great-grand. mother. The bridal bouquet was an arrangement of while feather chrysanthemums, lily of the val ley and red anthuriums. flown from Hawaii and pikaKi leis. Charlene Highland, Medford. was maid of honor and Karen Thomas and Sylvia Glass, both of Ashland, were bridesmaids. They were attired in kclly green slipper satin sheaths with bell- haped skirts. Matching head bands with short veils and slip pers completed their outfits. Their asymmetrical bouquets were of green and white holly and red anthuriums. Nick! Glass, flower girl, wore white organdy frock with red; and green flowers and carried matching basket of red carna tion petals. Mike Prindel was ring bearer and Sammy Stout and David Briggs lighted the candles. Mrs. Kangun chose for her daughter's wedding a ktlly green chiffon dress with complementary accessories. Mrs. Stout wore a blue lace sheath and matching blue hat. , Monte Dehlinger was best man and ushers were Dave Graham of Redding. Brad Flanary of Bend and Joe Tacchini, this city. A reception in the church par lors was followed by a champagne supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Dehlinger. Mrs. Stout, graduate of Punahou School in Honolulu, at tended the University of Oregon member of Tri Zeta Her hus band was a member of Delta Chi at Oregon State University before his transfer to SOC. Pre-nuptial affairs included a shower on the SOC campus given by Karen Thomas and Linda Lor ton and one given by Mis. Glad ys Rodgers. In this city Mrs. Dorothy Dehlinger, Mrs. Carrol Howe, Mrs. Vivian Wise, Mrs. Cal Taylor. Mrs. Mary Gober, Mrs. Richard Poole and Mrs. Joe Wright Jr. were hostesses at a before entering SOC.
