CHEESE HAM 4 lablespoom bulter 4 tablespoons flour 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups milk 3 cups cooked macaroni 2 cups shredded American HlM II. Ik I 11 r-O 1 ' . CZ 1111 11111 BmimM mmmtk LmmmmmmJ teMMnHaMJ '1 cup line dry bread crumbs 2 tablespoons butter, melted 1 cup finely chopped, cooked u lldlll Melt butter, add flour and salt and stir intil smooth. Add milk cook and stir until mixture is smooth and thickened. Add cheese and stir until melted. Arrange half the macaroni in a well-buttered casserole and pour half the sauce over the top. Sprinkle with half the ham. Add another layer of macaroni, and repeat ingredients in the same order as for the first layer. Top with crumbs blended with butter, Bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees, for 30 min utes. Makes 6 servings. Do You Know . . Dairy products are jour best food buy. Add corn meal, cheese and green pepper and mix well. Combine egg. milk, melted but ter and onion. Add to flour mix ture, stirring just enough to moisten the dry ingredients. Do not beat.
