Don't waste time wondering what the woman who seems to accomplish twice as much as you with half the effort has that you don't hive. The answer'is bound to be organization. Two housewives can keep busy for the same number of hours a day. One will accomplish every-1 thing she has to do without feel ing rushed or pushed. The other ends the day tired and frustrated with half the things she meant to do left undone. Both arexhard workers. Both e conscientious homemakers. The difference: One is organized like a successful executive. The other has never thought of home making as a job that requires planning and executive ability. The housewife executive doesn't 'M$jMjMt''MjM5 t DOWNSTAIRS STORE J - m mm m m mm m t v s .J&L. .-. nw s"tt l f f-WX.'Tfm'v (Sr? mssuii contioi . She divides the work, and expects each member of the family to do his share. Because she starts that system when her children are small, she doesn't waste energy through the years being a servant to her family. The housewife executive is al ways looking for better and eai- ier ways of doing things. She makes the most efficient use of every new piece of equipment she gets, instead of merely installing a new labor-saving device and then not changing her routine to make the best use of it. The housewife executive orga nizes her errands, marketing, and shopping so that she can accom plish the most with the least amount of time and effort spent instead of jumping in her car a dozen times a day to run errands. The housewife executive plans her days a week in advance, but keeps her schedule flexible enough f to allow her to change it to suit J herself, and to meet unexpected demands upon her time. The housewife executive puis first things first. She docs the hardest jobs when she has the energy to tackle them, instead of dreading them all the while she puts them off. It is organization and executive ability that enables a woman to run her home, instead of letting her home keep her on the run. ? ? ? t t t ? ? t t t t I A PRESSURE PAN Unbreakable One-piece pressure con trol cooks at 15 lbs. pressure Never needs adjustment Convenient time chart on handle. Fashion Flair How can a woman be sure the color she is choosing is right for her? The secret is that we each have a bit of the artist inside us and we must let the expression out. Put the new-season grape next to your cheek. Look carefully into the mirror to lest it in elec tric light, and in daylight. Docs it soften your skin? Does a wine do more for you because of con trast to your coloring? When you choose a color, it must live up to you and not overpower you so that you have to live up to it.
