Emery of Silver Lake was performed by Father Peter J. Duignan at 11 o'clock on Satur day morning, Aug. 19, at St. Pat rick Catholic Church in Lakeview. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Emery of Silver Lake. . Wedding bands were exchanged by the couple' before the altar banked with bouquets and baskets of while flowers. Robert Shotwell sang "Panis Angelicus," "Ave Ma- ria" and "On This Day Oh Beauti-j ful Mother," accompanied by Mary Lee Scoville. organist. The, altar boys were Con Fitzgerald, Ernie Fetsch and Timmy Taylor, nephews of the bride. Wearing a bridal gown previous ly worn by her sister, Mrs. Car ter Fetsch, the bride was escorted to tb altar by her father. The sim plicity of the antique slipper satin gown with full train was broken only by a dropped shoulder line of re-embroidered Alencon lace in the broad neckline band of the fit ted bodice. The sleeves were full length and pointed at the wrist. The fingertip double veil of illusion was held by a halo of tulle and sa tin. She carried a bouquet of white rosebuds and stephanotis tied with white velvet ribbon, gnd she wore the traditional GGG Cluh! garter. The bouquet was placed at the foot of the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary in a tradition al ceremony followed by MaryJ hurst College brides. ' A unarming note of color was added to the motif hy the Paris pink frocks of Cherry Taylor and Sharon Taylor, bridesmaids for! their 'sister. The bodices were of velveteen with square neck and cap sleeves, and the taffeta bell shaped skirts had double shirred panels in the back with an accent note of self material rosebuds at the waistline. Matching in color were their satin slippers and the head crowns with chapel veils. fThcy carried white bouquets. Acting as tmst man for his brother was Verle Emery, and ushers were Neil Taylor, the bride's brother, Jere Barry, a cou sin. and Glen Cleland. Mrs. Emery, the bridegroom's mother, wore a blue sheath cos tume of pure silk, with mauve silk hat, and bone accessories. Her corsage was of small pink rosebuds, The bride's home was the lo cale for the reception which fol lowed. The beautiful four-tiered cake, decorated with white rose buds, was centered on a white Irish linen damask cloth covering the bride's table. Cutting and serving the cake were Jenene O'Keeffe and Mrs. Robert Alger. Tea and coffee were poured by Mrs. Con Lynch and Mrs. J. C. Clark, The buffet was served on the patio, and friends who poured at the punch tables were Mrs. Phil ip Lynch, Mrs. Earl Foster, Mrs. Dan Collins and Mrs. Archie Ley dig. Serving at the men's table was F. Carl Fetsch. Godfather of the bride. Mayo Fitzgerald, a niece of the bride, served at the childrens' table. Background organ music was played during the af ternoon by Walter Pilgrim. Presiding at the gifs table was HERALD AND NEWS, Klamath Falls. Ore. Photo by Kettler Ryckman Clan Has Reunion TULELAKE A reunion at Long, Beach, Wash., recently brought together members of the'Ryck man family for the first yme in 10 years. I he occasion was also the first time for all families in the group to be together. Fifty eight people made the trip, fam ilies of seven brothers and sis ters. The group occupied two motels and a penthouse, went clam dig ging, deep sea fishing and enjoyed numbers of beach parties and pot- luck meals. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Ryckman. Tulelake, three children and six grandchil dren; Mrs. Fay Jones of Yaki ma, two cmidren and seven grandchildren; Mr. and Mrs. Arlo S. Ryckman of Kennewick, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Williams, Humiston, Iowa, four children and eight grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Williams, and two children, Yakima; Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Johnson, Alturas, I four children unable to attend); Bill Williams and his two chil dren, Whistling Jack Resort, near Yakima. The Tulelake Ryckman's are early day homesteaders. Recent guests at their Tulelake homei were Mr. and Mrs. Chester Mar tin of San Francisco. , Virginia Greeley, and attending the guest book was Mrs. Wil liam Kenny. The bride's travel costume was of imported pure silk peau de soic in a dawn mist shade. Her hat was a high pill box of sapphire vclour and other accessories were in lus tre brown. She wore a corsage of white rosebuds. Both the bride and bridegroom are graduates of Lakeview High School and she is also a graduate of Marylhurst College in Portland They are now at home in Silver Lake where he is in a logging partnership with his brother.
