tnief emet Cont 'entice L$$ 1 l: ' 1 B CAGERS KEEP TENSION HIGH Stiff contests for the right to enter the championship game Saturday night kept the County B basketball fans on the edges of their seats Friday. In the opener the Bonanza Antlers upset the Malin Mustangs 44-43 in a bitter battle. The Chiloquin Panthers had it a little easier as they dumped Sacred Heart 65-44 in the nightcap. In the first picture at left Malin's Nick Johnson soars with a two-pointer, part of his 12-point production. Racing up to try to stop him are Larry Albert 1181 and Joe O'Connor. In the next picture Bonanza's Rod Schooler struggles for the ball with Malin's Larry Rick while Mustang Dick Clark climbs high to take a swipe at the pill from the rear. In the next shot, Chiloquin's Frank Heglund hangs sus pended in mid-air with the ball while teammate Butch Crume, foreground, awaits developments. Next to him is Trojan Mike Holland, also a bit curious. In the final photo at right Chiloquin's "Smiling Ed" Case dances an obviously painful jig while avoiding Mike Krok, the Trojan at left, and Trojan Elmo LeBeau, 12.
