Mrs. Betty Cote, head lihrarian of the Klamath County Library, and Mrs. Paul Hcrron, branch li brarian, were hostesses to near ly 100 guests who called between and 5 o'clock to inspect the pleasant new room and its great ly increased facilities The color scheme of the new library, gray-green and Indian turquoise with -accents of coral. was complemented by bowls ol spring blossoms and a charming arrangement of carnations on the coffee table. Mrs. Walter Zimmerman, Mrs. Rufus Robinson and the faculty of the Chiloquin Elementary School added to the permanent decor by present potted plants. Presiding at the coffee table were Mrs. A. N. Slarkey, Mrs William Barnes. Mrs. Walter Zirn merman, Mrs. Elmer Heglund, Mrs. Frank Halt and Mrs. Fried man Kirk. Youngsters of the community were included in the afternoon's festivities and were served punch and cookies by Mrs. William Lor- enz, Mrs-. Hairy Whiting and Mrs. Lester Hoback. The younger patrons of the li brary were represented by three teenagers in charge of the guest book. Karen Schoonover, Candace Fried and Joyce Mclntyre. Among those coming from over. the county were A. R. Dickson, board, and Mrs. Dickson ; Ted DeMcrritt of Molin, board mem ber, and Mrs. DeMcrritt: Mr Amy Kolkow, branch librarian at Malin, and Mr. and Mrs. Nile; Hickey of Modoc Point. A valentine theme was used in decorations. Bea Mattson, no ble grand, served coffee and My rene Cunningham and Sherry I Baker poured punch. ERVVIN BROWER, right, principal off the new Falcon Heights School, served as installing officer for the first slate of officers of the school's PTA. The ceremony took place at the Feb. 7 meeting. Lola Stolt was appointed to make the purchase, Drum Corps announced they had performed between halves of the Rotary. Kiwanis March of Dimes basketball game in Tu!e lake on Feb. 13. Next regular practice for the drum corps will be Feb. 22 in the Moose Hall at 8 p.m. Refreshments were served bv the Hospital Committee.
