Open House Marks
New Library Addition
The completion of a new room
for the Chiloquin Branch of the
Klamath County Library was
marked by an informui eolfee
hour and open house on Feb. 11.
Mrs. Betty Cote, head lihrarian
of the Klamath County Library,
and Mrs. Paul Hcrron, branch li
brarian, were hostesses to near
ly 100 guests who called between

library, gray-green and Indian
turquoise with -accents of coral.

spring blossoms and a charming
arrangement of carnations on the
coffee table.
Mrs. Walter Zimmerman, Mrs.
Rufus Robinson and the faculty
of the Chiloquin Elementary
School added to the permanent
decor by present potted plants.
Presiding at the coffee table
were Mrs. A. N. Slarkey, Mrs
William Barnes. Mrs. Walter Zirn
merman, Mrs. Elmer Heglund,
Mrs. Frank Halt and Mrs. Fried
man Kirk.
Youngsters of the community
were included in the afternoon's
festivities and were served punch
and cookies by Mrs. William Lor-
enz, Mrs-. Hairy Whiting and Mrs.
Lester Hoback.
The younger patrons of the li
brary were represented by three
teenagers in charge of the guest
book. Karen Schoonover, Candace
Fried and Joyce Mclntyre.

Friendship Court No. 11, Order
of the Amaranth, honored Mrs.
Ruth Stanley, only charter mem
ber living in Klamath Falls, at
its stated meeting Feb. 15 at the
Scottish Rite Temple.
Before the meeting the mem
bcrs were entertained by several
selections by the girls of The Lit
tle Ensemble of Fremont Junior
High School. Don Herbig is di
rector. After the entertainment the
meeting was opened by Mrs. Phyl
iss May and William Goen. royal

be Feb. 22 in the Moose Hall
at 8 p.m.
