PORTLAND (API Coos County Judge James V. Harrison is the new president of the Association of Oregon Counties. He was elected Friday at the organization's annual meeting here. Jefferson Counly Judge H. A. Dussault was named vice presi dent and Yamhill County Judge K. E. Reene was re-elected trea surer. The association turned down res olutions calling for: A plan permitting or requiring counties to enter into collective bargaining agreements w ith coun ty workers. School elections to he held when possible on the regular primary and general election dates. A law to give juvenile judges jurisdiction over illegitimate child ren. Approved resolutions call for: Ten per cent of Oregon Liquor Control Commission revenues to be turned over to counties; a law making a misdemeanor for , an un related adult to live in the home of a welfare recipient or be sup ported by the family's welfare grant: legislation to permit coun ties to set indicated speed limits on county roads: a law to bring school building within the scope of county zoning; a retirement plan for county officials; the state 1 i y in i-pimhnrsp rnunties for costs in-, UUal IU JIT curred as the result of the secre tary of state making a mistake on election ballots; repeal of the gLEM (AP)-Former Supreme law requiring monthly publication Court Juslice Ha s Lusk ,.e.
