The major point of controversy in the bill is a provision that il allows county hoards of super visors a veto power oxer cither sex hunts in their area. Unless re newed, terms of the bill expire alter the 11 Legislature. Committee members, with a couple of notable exceptions, did not favor the supervisors' veto power, but most favored other sections of the bill as sound game management The committee agreed to meet monthly in Sacramento.
