Robert Lee Azen, 21. has admitted dropping three five pound bags of flour Sunday upon some startled citizens in a Sacra mento suburb. Sheriff's deputies, who identified the navigational student at Math er Air Force Base, said the lieu tenant was aiming for an empty lot. He told Deputy Clarence Martin that his friends were standing near the lot in Rancho Cordova to measure his accuracy. He was flying a single engine plane rent ed from a nearby airport. But he hit the lot only once The other two flour bags exploded on nearby rooftops, sending citi zens to their phones to protest the unexpected attack. pi CHERRY VANILLA Square Dancers Stage Benefit FORT KLAMATH Snnnsnrerf hv the Fort Klamath Square Dance Club, a benefit dance was held in the C.I. Clubhouse Saturday. February 6. Proceeds in I h p amount of $22 were turned over to the March of Dimes. Music for the evening's dancing was furnished gratis by the Rhythm Ranchhands of Klamath Falls, and use of the clubhouse was donated by the C. I. Club. Square dancing is enjoyed on the first Saturday night of each month, to the music of a i-pcnpri player. The Square Dance Club was started in April, 1939. Mem bers are assessed dues of 25 cents a month, the money being used to meet small incidental expenses. including rent of the clubhouse. President of the Dance Club is' Jim Knight, year-round ranchhand for the Hawkins Cattle Company at its ranch south of Fort Klam ath, and Mrs. Weston Encle is secretary.
