This is the same material that caused the cranberry controversey last fall. Applications of amino triazole properly applied and timed have given a high percentage of control throughout the county in recent years. Best results have been obtained when the thistle has been allowed to make considerable growth before spraying, from budding to full blossom, being about right. Amino triazole is a soluble powder which is mixed in water the rate of six to eight pounds of the product per 100 gallons of water. The addition of a wetting agent makes the material more effective. Plants should be sprayed to wet. Direct the spray from more than tone direction to get complete cov erage.
