Drivers Cited . Both drivers were cited for traf fic violations as a result of a .two-car accident at the intersec tion of Riverside Street and Abi Jene Avenue late Sunday after toon. Slate police said a car driven by Henry Irving Winterringer, 29, 2020 Abilene, was turning left onto Abilene from Riverside when a car driven by Larry Dell Chaplin, 19, 3624 Diamond Street, was at tempting to pass. Winterringer attempted to swerve back lo the right side of the road but was caught in a .sideswipe accident before Chap lin's car went into a borrow pit. , Police said Winterringer was cit ed for having an improper tail light and Chaplin was cited for following too closely. ; There were no injuries reported among the two drivers and seven passengers, one in the Chaplin car and six in the Winterringer car. CITY BRIEFS Itooscvelt PTA has scheduled its regular meeting for Tuesday, Janu ary 19, in the school auditorium. The book "Management In The Home" will be reviewed. Carnation Club will serve a pot luck luncheon at noon Tuesday, January 19, at the home of Mrs. Paul McDaniel, 2515 Watson Drive. The Rev. Robrrt C. The picture was filmed as part of a crusade to awaken Americans to the truth about communism. It is sponsored by the Christian Anti-Communism Crusade, and features Dr. Fred Schwartz, internationally recog nized authority on communism. The public is invited to see this film.
