Friday, January 8. lflfiO PACE THIRTRKN SCttJKS JEWS, VIEVS By TIM MASON The latest teen-age craze to hit KU struck last Monday, trig gercd by the statement, "May I borrow a dime?" After the dime was handed over the student who loaned the money was handed note which read, "You! have just bought a 10-cent investment in a Davy Crockett mule and you are . advised to get on the ball and get your dime back as I did. . No one knows how many of these Investment notes were circulated and neither does anyone know who ttartcd to circulate them. At any rate the students are wise and the game is over. The poor guys who are stuck with the notes may be a dime short, but they have gained a lesson in loaning money.
