Cut into halves. combine sugar, water, cinnamon candies, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and simmer until the candies are melted. Add apple halves cook 4 minutes, turn and cook 4 to 5 minutes longer or until apples are tender. Remove from syrup. Add a few drops green food color ing to cream cheese and blend. Form cheese into 1-inch balls; roll in chopped nuts. Place cheese balls in center of apple halves.
