EnlistsDick Cook, New Pine Creek, reports he has enlisted in the Marines for a six year term He will begin service August 23 on his 17th birthday. He will go to San Diego for boot training. Returned Mr. and Mrs. Dal Reed and sons have returned to Merrill following a week's visit to Los Angeles where they visited briefly with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Zlompke.
