Six men will offer one of "rjhe most varied and best seasons "In club history, members believe. A number of new memberships are available, club officials say. Wal ter Judd, who will appear Octo ber 1; Bob Ringer, November 17; Toni Gauer, January 28; Baron Siskiyou Band Camp (hens Soon ASHLAND Registrations are be ing accepted for ihe annual Siski you Band Camp, to be held on (he Southern Oregon College Cam pus, July 19 through July 31, it was announced by Dr. Herbert Cecil, camp secretary. Siskiyou Band Camp is a sum mer music school for junior and senior high school pupils and in cludes class work for college and graduate students. Musical opportunities include playing in the camp band, taking part in various small ensembles, 'private lessons and attending class es in music fundamentals and ap preciation. Recreational opportuni- ' ties are not forgotten, Dr. Cecil (aid. Guest conductor is Clarence Saw kill,, director of bands at the Uni versity of California at Los Ange les and one of the nation's lead ing authorities in the field of land work. Gauer is a yodeler, teacher, lec turer and a musician who plays 18 Swiss instruments. A Swiss, he is said to be the foremost author ity on Switzerland in this coun try. He calls his talk, "An Adven ture in Unique Entertainment DeMeiss-Tcuffcn's talk, "Adven ture in Old and New Africa,' taken from his experiences as a soldier of fortune in South and East Africa. Rukeyser is a noted economic commentator in newspapers, radio and television. "What's Ahead for the USA," is Ihe subject he will discuss. Furbay, an aviation offi cer who has been around the world more than 120 times, will attempt to bring diverse and con fusing elements of the modern world into focus with his talk, "Wings Over the World."
