Bur man who arrived recently from Mesa, Arizona, where he has for eight years been manager of the Sears store and will head their store in this city. This is their first time in Oregon and they are delighted with the climate, beautiful scenery and friendly people. They have been touring the United States since May when they left New Orleans, where Dr. Blumenfeld has been on the faculty of Louisiana State University. They left Klamath Falls ft Thursday for a leisurely trip to Whitewater, Wisconsin, where he will become a mem ber of the staff of Wisconsin State College as a professor of English. They have resided in Klamath Falls for a little over seven years. Tom Garratt has been game management agent for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and will serve in the same capacity in the Portland offices.
