UAR People Get Insurance CAIRO (UPI) The United Arab Republic has drafted a law providing for a compulsory health insurance system for civil serv ants. The plan will be implemented in stages, and will eventually ben efit 3(W,oon civil servants in Cairo alone. A medical treatment orsaniza lion will be formed to provide medical services for civil serv ants and their families against a small percentage of their salaries plus a nominal fee. The costs of applying the law in Cairo will amount to 768.000 Egyptian pounds ($1,920,0001. About one-third will be paid by the gov ernment. The rest will be collect ed from the civil servants them selves.
