in Lake of the Woods. The fish were part of a 300,000 fish planting program carried out
by Oregon State bams Commission personnel.

Arab Republic has drafted a law
providing for a compulsory health
insurance system for civil serv
ants. The plan will be implemented
in stages, and will eventually ben
efit 3(W,oon civil servants in Cairo
alone.

ants and their families against a
small percentage of their salaries
plus a nominal fee.
The costs of applying the law
in Cairo will amount to 768.000
Egyptian pounds ($1,920,0001. About
one-third will be paid by the gov

ed from the civil servants them

might try not giving their custom

vented a death ray machine.
Pier Luigi Ighina says he is
about ready to publish the find
ings of his work with magnetic
atoms and the details of his death
ray, which he describes as "a
transmitter of atomic vibrations
capable of melting the hardest
metals. v
Ighina, who tacks high scien
tific degrees and training, is in
different to the scorn of recog
nized scientists.
'The impossible does not exist
anymore," he said. "Tfie world
must take note of what is boiling
in the pot."
The city of Portland Ore., was
named after the city of Portland,
Maine.
