"At first I thought they were kidding," Kuehl said, "but then I figured there was nothing to lose." It wasn't -exactly his first man aging venture. Kuehl, a resident of La Habra, Calif., recalls that at 15, he ran a winning semi-pro at Huntington Park, Calif.
