. STRAWBERRY CREPES
FESTIVE DESSERT
For this dessert, fresh juicy
strawberries are rolled in delicate,
thin pancakes, then topped with a
ereamy Cinnamon Fluff. The Cin
namon Fluff may be lightly sweet
ened whipped cream to which cin
namon is added or you can use
the dessert topping (Dream Whip)
which is on the market this spring.
The topping is low in calories
anS stays fluffy on top of warm
dishes.
CINNAMON FLUFF
1 package dessert topping
mix
Vi cup milk
',-z teaspoon vanilla
Vi teaspoon cinnamon
Combine dessert topping mix,
milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Whip
as directed on package. Chill.
CREPES
3 eggs
4 cup sifted flour ,
Vi teaspoon salt
1V4 teaspoons sugar
1 cup milk v
Butter
FROZEN MEAT
Frozen meats packaged in moisture-vapor-proof

stored for fairly long periods in a
home freezer at zero degree or low
er. The storage period is eight
to 10 months fo beef, three to
five months for fresh pork and
veal, six to eight months for lamb.

bacon should not be frozen as there

1V4 cups sliced fresh strawber-,
ries, sweetened to taste
Beat the eggs lightly; add the
flour, salt, and sugar and beat
well. Add the 1 cup milk and con
tinue beating 3 to 4 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt enough butter
in a skillet to coat bottom and
sides. When hot, pour in about 3
tablespoons of batter. Tilt pan to
make batter spread evenly form
ing a thin flat pancake. Cook un
til batter bubbles. Turn and bake
on other side. Repeat with remain
ing batter. Fill each crepe with
1 to 2 tablespoons of the straw
berries. Roll up and arrange on
heated serving plate. Top each
crepe with cinnamon-topping. Serve
warm. Makes ten 8-inch crepes.
