Rev. Karl Jenson, Turlock. California, former pastor, will return to deliver the November 9 sermon. . Plans for the series of meet ings which will open each evening at 7:30 were announced by Rev. H. D. Centry, who also is em ployed as a border nllicer at the Dorris Inspection Station. The church here was established June 24, 1955. On the first Sun day. 12 persons were present lor Sunday School. Now there are 87 enrolled with an average attend ance of 55 during the last year. The church is located at the cor ner of California and North streets where construction was he gun on July SO, l!i5."i. Since that dale the church has been enlarged to accommodate the growing con gregation and a steeple has been added. The indebtedness was paid off on October 1 of this year. History of the Freewill Raptist Church goes hack to the 17lh cen tury according to the pastor. An entire church, congregation and pastor, came from Wales and set tled on the Delaware River. Out of this group was rirveloped the pres ent Freewill Raptist churches, ac tive in all missionary and educa tional endeavors. Headquarters of, the church are in Nashville, Tennessee. iyvV REV. Christian Women Meet Reported IIORNBROOK The home of Mrs. Henley Clawson in Horn brook was the setting for the re cent meeting of the Rulh Circle of the Yreka Women's Society of Christian Service, with Mrs. Hart sel Cray of Yreka, as program leader. The program consisted of the Utah Indian version of the 23rd Psalm, given by Mrs. Cray. Mrs. Clawson discussed the painting of "The Master," by Solomon. Mrs. Gray conducted the busi ness session when the group dis cussed the forthcoming bazaar to be held in November.
