The install ment plan. The same type of installment credit which is "old hat" to busi ness is under writing educations tliis fall for some 30,000 students. "Everybody else in America is .selling on credit, so why shouldn't one college official. This "pay as you learn" pro gram is operated through schools and colleges by Tuition Plan, Inc., originated in 11138 by an industrial ist named Rudolf Neuburger. Neu butger got the idea- from heating parents complain about the huge cash outlay necessary each Sep tember and February to cover tui tion, books, dormitory fees, and such. The first year in operation . it had 28 student customers. Some 110,000 students haVe used the plan in the last five years, said Robert J. Keir, executive vice president. The plan works this way: Par ents or students apply for credit through the school or college. Some 600 educational institutions, from nursery to graduate schools, are "associates." Tuition Plan handles the bookkeeping on Ihe monthly payments. Klamath Given Predator Funds Klamnlh County will receive $1420 of the $30,000 of state mon ey allocated by the Stale Depart ment of Agriculture for predatory animals control during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1359. This report comes from M. E. Knicker bocker, chief of the department's division of animal industry. Predatory animals control is a three-way program between the state and federal government and the counties. Funds designated for each county are available to the extent that counties appropriate matching funds for the program, which is conducted by the state in cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
