School Board Receives Bids Two bids were received by the school board of District No. 1 at the Monday evening meeting for rernofing Fremont School. 715 High Street, according to Harold B. Ashley, clerk of the school dis trict. Bidders were llenris Roofing Company, $3,687 and C. Fitzger ald, $4,798.30. The work involved includes fur nishing and applying approximate ly 152 squares of Johns-.Mnnville type built-up roofing. The regular roofing squares arc 100 square fool sections each. As the amounts bid were above the estimated cost of the re pair work, a special committee was named to study the bids and also to investigate the possibility of bonded roofing. The committee will report at the school board meeting to he held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 11. FALL INJURES MAN Burton E.
