Rams ey of 521 North Fifth Street, be came Mrs. Robert Milton Erie in rites solemnized Saturday, June 28, In St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Robert Greene. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen M. Ede of Portland. Sue was given in mar riage by hrr father, well known Basin rancher and member of pi oneer family. Her mother has for several years been society editor oi me Herald and News. Maid of honor for her sister-in- law to be was Mary Ellen Ede. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Robert Stevens of Salem, the former Mar garet Scholer of Klamath Falls; Mrs. John Eskildsen, Portland, the iormer Linaa rope of Fort Klam ath; Mrs. William Morris of Os weeo. the former Marv-io Uiun of Klamath Falls and Mrs. Jack frock, tne former Diane Olden burg of Klamath Falls. Her shoulder length hand finished veil was held in place with a small headpiece of seed pearl-outlined leaves. She carried a small white prayer book topped with a large white orchid surround ed with stephanotis. The small flowers were knotted into narrow satin streamers, She wore the tra ditional blue garter, an engage ment present from Leila Lemmon. Portland, and carried a pure silk and handmade lace handkerchief. The heirloom handkerchief was brought from England by .Mrs. Thomas Martin, the bride's great grandmother, and given to Mrs. Fred Shallock many years ago who presented it to Sue, Preceding the exchange of vows, Mrs. Walter Badorek, Klamath Falls, sang appropriate selections accompanied by Mrs. Nevarte Smith, also of Klamath Falls, who played the traditional organ processional and recessional. The bride's attendants wore all white bell-sheaths of Cluny lace over taffeta with crushed taffeta cummerbunds ending in back in terest streamers. On their heads were seed pearl bands with eye lash length veils sprinkled with seed pearls. They each carried a bouquet of shaded turquoise and blue carnations. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Ramsby chose a" sheath of light turquoise cotton lace over taffeta styled with a crushed chif fon cummerbund of the same col or which ended in hem length panels in the back. She wore matching accessories and a cor sage of white gardenias. The sen ior Mrs. Ede wore a sheath of blue and turquoise imported cot ton print with matching accesso ries. She also had a gardenia cor sage pinned at her shoulder. Following the ceremony, the some 400 guests were invited to a garden reception at the John Mar tin home at 1111 Pacific Terrace. The tables were decorated with cloths of white eyelet with organdy .Sue's four great-aunts, Mrs. S. E. Martin, Oakland, California: Mrs. R. H. Anderson. Mrs. E. N. Hos- ley and Mrs. Charles J. Martin of Klamath Falls who presided at the coffee service; Sandra Hubbard, Medford; Mrs. Gene Helm, Port land; Mrs. James Gilmore, Port land and Sue Thompson, Klamath Falls, who cut and served tltc wedding cake; Barbara Diddle, Oakland, California; Meride Brol Her, Scaramento; Mrs. James Jocchi, Ann Henderson, Pali O'Con nor, Elbert Stiles, Laurence Brcwn, JacM Prock, George Clark, Lee Stoner, Melvin Howie and Bob Thompson, all of Klamath Falls, who served punch. Mrs. Alton Chamberlain of Salem, the former Ann Gillenwaters. and Jayne Gil- lenwaters of Los Angeles, cousins of the bride, registered the guests. Mr. and Mrs. George Paris were responsible for the addition of the cage of love birds and for the refreshments. Turquoise and blue car nations surrounded the tiered wed ding cake, and on the buffet ta ble deeper toned larkspur flanked a gilded cage in which two love birds set the mood of the event. Silver and crystal serving pieces with white linen. Her shoes and bag were a spice brown with white trim. She wore a white straw modi fied cloche, white gloves and the orchid from her wedding bouquet. Sue was the honoree at a series of pre-nuptial socials, including an appliance shower hosted by Mrs. Richard Currin and Mrs. Waiter Lassett at the Lassett home at 505 Pacific Terrace on May 16. Mrs. 0. L. Stoner, Mrs. Laurence Brown, Mrs. George Clark and Mrs. Elbert Stiles were hostesses at a linen shower at the Stoner River House on Conger Avenue on June 24. The bride and her attendants were entertained at a day's outing at the Jack Prock cabin at Lake of the Woods June 26. The follow ing day, Sue was hostess to her attendants at a luncheon at the Pelican Cale. Sue is a graduate of Klamath Union High School and attended University of Oregon. She was ac tive in school organizations here and in college, including Jhe rally squad, choral and athletic clubs, and was a finalist for Betty Coed and a member of the Junior Weekend queen's court, while in college. She is identified with Pi Beta Phi social sorority.
