Averll Love Garriott, only daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. William L Garriott, Dunsmulr, and grand daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Barnes, Olene, exchanged wedding vows with George Robert, BurreU, Eugene, on that day in the First Methodist Church, Klamath Falls. The bridegroom is the son of Mr and Mrs. 6. K. BurreU, EuRcne. The double ring service was read at 2 p.m. by Dr. Dallas S. McNeil before members of the two faml lies and close friends. Scallops of the lace outlined t h e boat-shaped neck. Long sleeves of the lace were pointed at the wrist. Medallions of the lace were caughl in the very full skirt which swept into a chapel train. Her finger-tip nylon net veil was held by a tiny tiara-type, seed pearl-encrusted cap. She caried a white New Testa ment with cymbidium orchid and cascade of stephanotis buds caught In white satin streamers. A sir pence, worn In her shoe, was given by a friend. She also wore the traditional blue garter. Her maid of honor, Beth Dean of Klamalh Falls, wore an aqua taf fela frock with bouffant skirt and matching brocaded slippers. Her hair was bound with a net and seed pearl tiara. She carried Esther Reed daisies and stephanotis. The best man was William E. West, Eugene, brother-in-law of the bridegroom. Ushers were William L. Garriott Jr., Dunsmuir. brother nc the bride and Jimmv Dean Barnes, cousin of the bride. Mrs. Harriott chase a navy satin back sheath dress with while ac cessories and a while orchid at the shoulder. Mrs. BurreU, Ihe bride groom's mother, wore a dusty rose lace ensemble with matching ac cessories and a white orchid cor sage. The new Mr. and Mrs. BurreU received In the parlors of t h e church immediately following the ceremony. Their three-tiered all-white cake encircled with Cecil Bnmer rose buds and maidenhair fern, cen tered the lare-rovered table. White tapers in candelabra complemen ted tne centra motit. At the coffee urn was Mrs. P. J, Dean, Klamath Falls. Mrs. LeRoy Real was at the punch bowl and the guest gook was In charge of Mrs. William E. West, Eugene, sister of the bridegroom. For traveling In their honeymoon spot on the McKenzie River, Mrs BurreU wore a blue and white em bossed cotton frock with white hat and accessories. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. William E. West, and daugh le'r Terrl, Eugene; Mr. and Mrs Harry West. Sulherlin: Mr. and Mrs. Webb Kcnnett, Redding, uncle and aunt of the bride; and Mrs. Catherine L. Garriott, Dunsmuir, paternal grandmother of the bride. Ihe bridegroom attended the uni versity of Oregon for two years he fore two years of service In t h e Korean conflict. He graduated this year from Oregon Technical Insti tute in highway technology. Mrs. BurreU has been associated with Consolidated Freightways. this city. Large baskets of white gladioli and blue delphinium placed at ei ther side of the fireplace in the home of the bride, provided a charming background and altar for the wedding of Rhonda Lou L&moie and William Francis Woods on June 25. The service was read at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. Leon Thom son, minister of the first Congre gational Church of Oroville, Cali fornia, and a life long friend of the bride's family, in the presence of immediate families of the young couple. Rhonda, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lambie, 254S Home- dale Road, was given in marriage by her father. William, who had just returned from a tour of duty with the Army in Germany, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Woods, 204B Huron Street. For her wedding, the bride donned a ballerina gown of Swiss imported organdy made with a taut bodice, short sleeves and a full flowing skirt with scalloped edge. An orange-bud band held in place a snood of illusion veiling. Rhonda carried a lace handker chief, made and given to her by Mrs. Jack Nixon. recorded for this occasion at the Congregational Church in Oroville with Mrs. Joyce Graves at the or gan, included Lohengrin and Men delssohn music. Joanne Henderson of Eagle Point, Oregon, a college friend of the hride, was maid of honor. Shar on Taylor of this city, a girlhood friend of Rhonda, was bidesmaid The flower girl was little Robin Musselman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Musselman of this city. Ring bearer was Steven Woods. :on of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Woods and cousin of the bride groom. Kenneth and Keith Woods, twin brothers of the bridegroom, served as best man and usher, respectively. nosegays of Esther Reed daisies and blue delphinium. The flower ,'irl was charming in a full-skirted embroidered white organdy dress For her daughter's wedding the mother of the bride chose a sap phire blue pure silk floral print heath with a gracefully draped neckline and side draped skirt. A small sapphire blue velvet coifelte completed her ensemble. The mother of the bridegroom wore a mauve Chantilly lace dress. The skirt was designed in three tiers of Chantilly bands with a cum merbund and back drape of silk chiffon. The plain Chantilly lace basque had three-quarter length sleeves and a scoop neckline fin ished with lace scallops. She wore small dyed-to-match horsehair braid and lace hat with a chiffon The maid of honor and t h ejbow and trim in back. Both moth- bridesmaid were frocked alike white embroidered organdy sheaths over ice blue taffeta, styled with scoop necklines and cap sleeves and ice blue taffeta cum merbunds which tapered to a square bow with streamers cas cading down the back. All bridal ers wore corsages of white roses. After the ceremonies, the new lyweds greeted friends in the Peli can Party Room where luncheon was served to nearly 100 guests. The previous year she was named as the first winner of the United Nations essay contest for this area, sponsored by the Odd Fellows and Rebekah lodges. She majored in elementary education at the University of Ore gon and has accepted a teaching position for the coming school year in the Klamath County school sys tem. The bridegroom-to-be expects to be called into military service this fall. Ron majored In business admin istration and is affiliated with Sig ma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He has worked during summer vacations in the family business. Loveness Lumber Company, and is now a junior partner with his father, and uhcle. Numerous social events have been planned for the popular bride-to-be. Assisting at the reception were Mrs. Leo Molatore, who acted as hostess; Mrs. H. F. Martin, aunt of the bride, who arranged the gifts; and Mrs. Robert Woods and Mrs. T. L. Goodwin, aunts of the bridegroom, who cut and served Ihe cake. The coffee was poured by Mrs. Arthur Wilson and Mrs. Jack Nixon, and Mrs. B. F. Ar gile and Mrs. Leon Thomson. Car ol Taylor registered the guests. The bridal bouquet was caught by Cinda Pollard and the bride's blue garter by Kenneth Woods. In the early afternoon the newly weds left by plane for a wedding trip to New York and New Eng land. From there they will drive to Columbus, Georgia, where Bill will be stationed with the Army until next May. At the airport Jeffery Molatore and his twin brothers, Timothy and Michael, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Mola tore, supplied the guests with rice. For travel the bride chose a chemise dress of orange ice and vanilla print on silk which was topped with a vanilla textured silk trapeze style coat. A matching cloche of beige with organza and braid trim, and shoes and bag of bencdictine calf completed her out fit. Rhonda is a graduate of Friends' Boarding School, Barnesville, Ohio, KS'WI V'H UNITED AIRLINES WHISKED the newly wed Mr. and Mrs. William Francis Woods to New York City and the New England states for a honeymoon before they drive to Co lumbus, Georgia, where Bill will be stationed with the Army. Bill, a 19S5 KUHS graduate, attended Lewis and Clark where he was a mem ber of the college golf team. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Molatore hon ored Rhonda and Bill at a pre wedding party on June 10. On June 19 Mrs. L. E. Taylor and daughters, Sharon and Carol, gave Rhonda a miscellaneous shower in their home. Following the wedding rehearsal on the evening of June 24, the bridegroom's parents entertained with a dinner at Harold's for mem bers of the wedding party and families. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. T. L.
