The annual tour and judging event is a part of Dairy week which is being marked through out June. In the center picture left, the 5-year-old Harris twins are all in terest as Wilma Albert, 9, explains the method she is using when fill ing out her judging chart. The twins, George at left and Eddie at right, are the sons of Mr. and Mrs.. Bud Harris. Wilma is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Al bert. In the lower left picture, judg ing advice from a veteran is giv en to two vitally interested young sters.' The future-farmers making acute mental notes ot tne valuable advice are Alan Hobson, left, and Larry Connor, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Connor of Merrill. The capable tutor in this case is Ray Hobson of Merrill. In the picture directly below. the .masters themselves compare a lew judging notes. They are Ray Peterson, left, a Klamath County agent, and Lawrence Geraghty, president of the Klamath Grade A Milk Producers Association. The winner of the junior division of the judging was Virginia Scala, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Scala, Midland. The di vision is for contestants 14 and under. Miss Scala had 297 point out of a possible 400. The intermediate division, for those between 15 and 30 years old, was won by Stephen Hobson, me son oi Mr. ana Mrs. Hay J. Hobson, Merrill. He had 344.9 points out of a possible 400. The senior division, for Dersons 30 and older, was won by Mrs. Ida Scala. Her point total was 343.8 out of a possible 400. It marked the third time Mrs. Scala has won the senior division, and she will retain the trophy award. the tour also included a studv of pastures and new farming meth ods. TOMB REMAINS There is a white marble tomb of Columbus inside the cathedral of Santo Domingo at Cuidad Tru jillo. Dominican ' Republic. His remains have since been removed to Spain, but the tomb is still there. THE COVER Photographer Leo Mor stod was right on the job last Sunday when he snapped this picture of some of the riders taking part in last Sunday's Queens' Outing on the Rafter MD Ranch near Chiloquin.
