AVOCADO CRANBERRY SHERBET 4 cups fresh cranberries i cup water for cranberries 1 cup sugar V, tablespoon plain gelatin 1 cup water 2 tablespoon fresh lime or lemon juice 1V4 cups finely-diced Calavo av ocado Cook cranberries in i cup of water; add sugar when berries are soft and stir until it is dis solved. Strain berries through a coarse sieve. Soften gelatin in Vt cup cold water and dissolve in hot cranberry puree. Add lime juice and remaining 1 cup water. Pour into refrigerator tray. Place in freezing compartment with control set at lowest temperature ana freeze. Cut avocado into halves lengthwise and remove seed and skin. Dice fruit finely. Stir sher bet twice during freezing process, adding avocado when sherbet is almost firm. Serves 6.
