Sift flour, salt and spices to gether and mix into sugar mix ture. Dissolve soda in cold water' and stir ill. Chill dough. Roll out 4 inch thick. Cut out greased cardboard pattern. Transfer to greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees 1.1 to 18 minutes. Cool slightly and remove from I sheet, uecorato with powdered su gar icing. The recipe mokes from ill to 20.
