Photo by Ueely, Lakeview Lake Cooking Program Held LAKEVIEW The success of a beef cookery demonstration held in Lakeview Tuesday evening, February 4, in the high school home economics room and spon sored by the Lake County Cow belles, is expected to spark a se ries of similar demonstrations throughout the state in a beef pro motion drive, according to Mrs. Dave Campbell of Bly, president of the state Cowbelles group who was a guest. Seventy one women answered the invitation of the Lake County orcanization. headed by Mrs. Er- win Abramson. Conspicuous among them were a group of young 4-H Club cooking members, as well as young daughters of the Cow belles and guests. The demonstrations were made by Mrs. Beverly Lyons, Medford home economist for the Califor nia Oregon Power Company, who had actual results available of a variety of beef cuts cooked dur ing the two-hour period. The ree iDes were also distributed to the giieSts, and a discussipn period was conducted by Mrs. Lyons, inc meat was donated by local markers.
