The date has been changed to Decem ber 6, and will be at the home of Virginia Hartley. Roll call will be to bring wrapping paper and toys, clothes or canned food for the Christmas box. The things will be wrapped and the box made ready for some family for Christ mas. The no-hostess meeting will start at 2 o'clock. Visitors from Sacramento for the weekend were Patsy Tofell and her friend Ellen Kinney to the home of Patsy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tofell of Bonanza. Spending several days in Lan gell Valley with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. I. B. Morris, was Mrs. Nellie Stampley of Santa Rosa. Guild of St. Barnabas Church in La'ngell Valley will meet at the home of Mrs. Arthur Monroe in Lsngell Valley at 2 p.m., Decern Utc 5. It is a combination No vember-December meeting and will be the annual Christmas par ty with gift exchange. Aanie Cline of Alturas is In Bonanza to spend the winter months with her niece, Mrs. Flor ence Horn. Mrs. Horn and Jack went after Mrs. Cline on Sunday Injured in a fall was Ed Greene of Malin on November 18. He suf fered several cracked ribs and a cracked elbow and is recuperating at his home. Ashland Play Plans Outlined ASHLAND Eight additional performances have been scheduled lor the four plays to be produced during the 1958 Oregon Shakes pearean Festival in Ashland. The season will open with "Much Ado ' About Nothing." on July 28 and will continue in nightly rotation with hmg Lear, The Merchant of Venice," and "Troilus and Cres sida." There will be a total of 39 consecutive performances dur ing the nearly six weeks period. The long established festival slo gan, "Stay Four Days, See Four Plays," will remain in effect. Vis itors will still be able to come any four days and see all four of the productions. The plays will be directed by two well known festival directors, James Sandoe of the. University of Colorado and Robert Loper, a director for the department of drama at Stanford University. Both men have long lists of highly suc cessful productions to their credit. The staging of "Troilus and Cres sida," will complete the canon of Shakespeare's plays at Ashland. The Old Vic Theater in London reportedly will complete the canon during the coming season. No more than five English-speaking theater organizations have produced all of Shakespeare's plays. The Oregon Festival will soon possess the only complete library of actual perform-' ance recordings of the' plays in the world. KF Realtors Plan Election The Klamath Board of Realtors v. ill have their annual election of officers Wednesday, November 27, at their regular luncheon meeting to be held at the Willard Hotel. Candidates for office are Bruce Owens, president: Wayne Scott, vice president; Mary Phillips and John Quinn, secretary - treas urer; Cal Peyton and Deane Sach er, director. All members are urged to attend this important meeting. The board's annual Christmas party is to be held at the Wi nema Hotel, Saturday, December 14. beginning at 7 p.m. with a social hour and dance to follow. Kruce Owens, Wayne Scott and Wilda Mathews are in charge of arrangements for the Christmas party. Malin Resident Mrs. Emmett Lahoda attended an American Le gion Auxiliary State Board meet ing in Portland November 16. Mrs. Lahoda Is president ot District 4. Takes Trip Ed Petrasek of Ma lln is now attending a National Potato Council meeting in Wash ington D.C. Elk Hunting in eastern Oregon are Malinites, Keith Gentry and John Van Meter. Cancelled There will be no meet ing of the Lost River Grange until December 11, as the regular meet ing of November 27 falls on Thanksgiving Eve. Installation A mass installation of the Henley, Lost River, Poe Valley and Pomona granges will be held December 4 at the Poe Valley Grange Hall. Toyi Wanted The Merrill Vol unteer Fire Department is still in need of broken or discarded toys to make their Christmas project a success. The toys will be repaired and made ready for distribution to children of needy families on Christmas Eve. Persons wishing to contribute toys are asked to leave them at the post office or fire hall m Merrill. Returned Mr. and Mrs. Orval DeVaul of Langell Valley are home from their elk hunting trip. They visited his sister Mildred and fam ily at French Glen and his other sister, Edna Conley, and husband of Grants Pass were also visitors there.
