NOVEMBER 21. 1957 HERALD AND NEWS, KLAMATH FALLS, OREGON PAGE TWENTY FIVE 1 V-V- ' CANDLE MAKING is easy with Parowax. to make a one pound candle, remove 4 quarters from the Parowax pack age and seal two quarters together by dipping the flat sur face in a shallow pan of melted Parowax and pressing one on top of the other. Repeat the process with the other two quarters. Score one section down the middle with an ice pick or can opener to provide space for the wick which is dipped in melted Parowax and placed in the groove, leav ing I1; -inch at candle top. Then put two candle halves together with melted Parowax and turn the entire candle in the melted wax, including the wick end. "Frost" the candle by beating V2 pound of melted Parowax to the consistency of whipping cream and applying with knife blade.
