Jones has colled for clubs and organizations throughout California since 1940 and has traveled in the United States and Canada for tha past five years. OREGON Police Probe ; Knife Attack One man was in jail and another I under treatment for a stab wound following a knifing affray at a South Sixth Street drive-in cafe Saturday night, i I Jack Parker, 19. of Keno, told 'City Policemen Dennis Lillv and 'Lionel Olsen that he and a girl incna were seated in an automo bile in front of the cafe when three men approached. One of the men, according to Parker, or dered the girl to get out of the car and be "inspected." Parker leaped from the car and a fight ensued. Parker was slabbed ; in the back. He was taken to Klamath Valley Hospital for treat-; ment. Hospital officials said the wound was superficial. Later police arrested Isidore! Gutirrez, 18-year-old Bonanza farm worker. They said he was involved! in the attack on Parker but did not wield the knife. The two other men are still sought. TRANSFER LAKF.VIEW R. C. Jack White, a veteran of radio, TV and the stage, has joined KFJ1 announcing staff as a disk jockey. White formerly was with KWJJ, KTOJ and KLIQ in Port land. He visited Klamath Falls last year with his show band, the "Jumping Jacks," and was as sociated with the Portland Civic Theater and the Magic Ring Theater. Bartlett said effective October 1, KFJI's main studio and office will be located back on Radio Hill. The move was necessitated by production problems arising from the disadvantages of broad casting from two locations.
