Tucker On State Board R. Frank Tucker, manager of the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce, recently was appointed to a state chamber of commerce executive's committee on taxation. Tucker ,was named to the group by Vern Tlnnerstet, president of the Oregon Chamber Executives, The committee will meet in Portland- Friday to set up a state wide meeting on taxation ia Salem about the middle of April. The taxation group was formed to study the possibility of obtaining a more desirable tax structure for the state than now exists. It Is felt by the committee that Ore gon's tax set-up should be more competitive with surrounding states than it Is today.
