State Board
R. Frank Tucker, manager of
the Klamath County Chamber of
Commerce, recently was appointed
to a state chamber of commerce
executive's committee on taxation.
Tucker ,was named to the group
by Vern Tlnnerstet, president of
the Oregon Chamber Executives,
The committee will meet in Portland-
Friday to set up a state
wide meeting on taxation ia Salem
about the middle of April.
The taxation group was formed
to study the possibility of obtaining
a more desirable tax structure for
the state than now exists. It Is
felt by the committee that Ore
gon's tax set-up should be more
competitive with surrounding states
than it Is today.
A cross-section of state chamber
managers and executives make up

We'd like to make a prediction about jou.
W ithout reservation, we prophesy that you
will revise your fine car standards upward
after even a brief personal meeting with
Lincoln for 1956.
The reason for our confidence? Simply
this: the pleased people veve watched in our
show rooms - and the names we've been
writing on our wailing lists - ever since this
completely new fine car made its debut.
We're certain that you - like these olhcrs

LINCOLN
The longest, lowest, most powerful Lincoln of all time
who really know fine cars will recognize
at once the dramatic whole newness of Lin

In the breathtaking daring of its low silhou

And we further forecast this: when you
turn the key, your interest will turn to admi
