Mrs. Otto Ellis, left, represented Alice McClellan Birny, the founder of PTA and Mrs. Glen Kent, seated, played, the part of Phoebe Apperson Hearst, the mother of the late William Randolph Hearst, publisher. Roosevelt PTA Presents Skit Past presidents of the Roosevelt PTA were honored during the an nual Founders Day meeting at the school on February 21. Mrs. R. J. Brinegar was program chairman. Doctor George I. Wright, pioneer Klamath Falls physician and first high school graduate here, spoke on early school days in Klamath Falls. Mrs. Wright was also a guest. Past president honored with corsages were Mrs. Glenn Kent, Mrs. Otto Ellis, Mrs. E. A. Geary, Mrs. Robert A. Thompson, Mrs. Howard Dixon, Mrs. Art Moore annd Mrs. Ted Lindley. Mrs. Leslie Rogers, the first president was not present. Mrs. Kent as Phoebe Apperson Hearst and Mrs. Ellis as Alice McClellen ' Birny, who promoted PTA. appeared in a short skit. Camp Fire Girls gave a short play. Reuben Larson Elected Baptist Moderator Reuben Larson. Klamath Falls 'layman, was elected moderator of the Conservative Baptist Associa tion of Oregon at the eighth an nual meeting held in Corvallis last wsekend. About 1.200 Conservative Bap tisls were present for the sessions. Attending from Klamath' Falls were the Rev. Freeman Schmitt, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church and the Rev. Charles W. Myers, pastor of the Immanuel Baptist Ccnservitive Church. Hal Ogle Speaks To BPW Group Hobbies of members were dis played at the February 20 meetlnu of the Klamath Falls Business and Professional Women's Club at the Willard Hotel.
