Beverages, sauces, desserts all with choco late. ... Chocolate, along with its'delecta ble, one-and-only flavor, has the Jolly kind of warm-up quality so jj)eartlly welcomed in brisk weather. , Here is a recipe from Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate for Choco late Tarts, pictured here, that can be just the right finishing touch ibr itParty you promised the youngsters or what you have been looking for to serve at the Harvest Supper at the church, or the decorative kind of dessert you want for a holiday dinner. The recipe is extremely jsimple, ya the smooth, creamy filling for your flaky tart shells has the chocolate richness that everyone loves. The flavor secret is the premium unsweetened chocolate you use. The decoration on top is a marshmallow. CHOCOLATE TARTS Bake 8 to 10 plain or fluted tart shells. Cool. Use filling recipe giv en below allowing 2-3 to 34 cup filling for each tart. Top each with a marshmallow. Makes 8 to 10 lour-lnch tarts. FILLING . 1 envelope i tablespoon) tin flavored gelatin V4 cup sugar teaspoon salt 1 egg yolk, slightly beaten cup milk 3 squares unsweetened choco late 1 cup evaporated milk, whipped 1 teaspoon vanilla -Mix gelatin, sugar, and salt In top of double boiler. Combine egg yolk and milk and add to gelatin mixture. Add the 3 squares of un sweetened chocolate. Cook over boiling water until chocolate . Is melted, stirring occasionally. Re move from heat. Beat with egg beater until mixture is smooth and blended. Chill until thickened. Fold in whipped evaporated milk and vanilla. Pile into baked tart shells Chill. To whip evaporated milk, pour 1 cup into freezing tray. Chill in freezing compartment of refrigera tor until tiny ice crystals begin to form around edges (about i hour).
