Christmas Plan Slated DUNSMUIR Dunsmuir mer chants announce a giant Christ mas promotion in which about $2,000 in merchandise will be giv en away during the Christmas shopping period. Shoppers qualify for $10 gift cer tificates by signing their names in the participating stores. Awards will be made each Saturday from November 26 to Christinas Eve. Dunsmuir Gets Heavy Rainfall DUNSMUIR The weekend storm brought 6.31 Inches of rain fall to Dunsmuir almost obliter ating nine inches of snow that fell earlier in the week and bringing the seasonal total 1.3 inches above normal. . This ends a record dry speil and with Mt. Shasta now well cov ered with snow, fears of a water shortage are greatly lessened Mount Shasta recorded 17 inches of snow last week and three ad ditional Inches of tain dtir.ng the weekend, brought the montn's to tal to 6 02 inches. Radio Sports Show Changed ' The Klamath Sports Album'1! weekly radio feature of the Script and Microphone Guild of Kinmath Union High School is being changed from 7:15 p.m. on Wed nesday nights each week to 5:30 p.m. on the same day. The pro gram is broadcast over station KFJI. This program is a sports fea ture devoted strictly to high school sports.
