Archeologists Mrs. L'o u i s J o h n s on, Paisley, Oregon, and Mrs. Edith McLeod, Klamath Falls have left on an archeological trip to the California coast near Fort Ross. Brenner Norcross of Chemult will drive the school bus from Chemult to Gilchrist, replacing Ora Blay who retired at the end of the school year in June. Benefit Sale Funds for re modeling the Masonic Building in Chiloquin will be derived from rummage sale to be held Septem ber 9 and 10 In the Pelican Theater building in Klamath Falls. J. Hopper. Fort Klamath Mrs. James F. Legget and little Steve Casebier, Bonanza, spent the weekend with her son, Jim Legget, at Fort Klamath. Tommy Snclllng was called to Klamath Falls from Fort Klanv ath late Monday night, August 30, by the sudden illness of his moth er, Mrs. Denver Parks of Che- mult, who was taken to Hillside Hospital. Her death occurred on September 2. Well-known at Fort Klamath, she was the aunt of Mrs. Jack Thomas. Visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Pitts Elmore over Labor Day weekend was Mrs. Gay Penn of Portland. They spent Sat urday, Sunday and Monday at Reno and Lake Tahoe. If a member does not attend at least three meetings in Septem ber, he will lose credit for this quarter of the year. Driver Renders Not Guilty Plea DUNSMUIR. Don Basham of Dunsmuir has pleaded not guilty In Dunsmuir Justice Court to charge of hit and run driving and jury trial date has been set by Judge A. A. Smith for September 14. Charges stem from an accident on August 21 in which Theo Bas sett of Weed, traveling south or Highway 99, said his car was side- swiped by a northbound car which kept on traveling.
