Workshop To Be Held Three Klamath Ba.tln youths will attend a student council workshop at the University of Oregon next Sunday. The fie-day session is to he held in the Era Memorial Union Building, and is being conducted by the Oregon Assarlatlon of Stu dent Councils with the assistance of tile School of Education at Ore gon. Terr' Hannon of Klamath Union Ifiph School, and Larry vertso:i and Chris Lemler of Merrill will make tne trip. It is the first workshop of its kind in Oregon, and is designed to provide experience and develop techniques in xroup leadership for ytudem council members and their sponsors. Dr. Donald I. Wood, chairman ol the advisory committee of the National Association of Student Councils. San Antonio, Texas, Is consultant for the workshop. Some 125 Oreaon high school are ex pected to be represented. Four Basin Men Enlist Four Klamath Basin men have enllsled in the U. S. Air Porce for four-year terms. On August 1, Honald E. Averett and Edward O. Rae enlisted and on August 4, Arlln L. Travis and Leonard D. Bowling signed up. Averett, son of Robert Averett, 39 Mam Street, is a former Klam ath Union High School student; Rae, son of Mrs. Dorothy Flackus, 2210 Ogden Street, Is a graduate of the 1955 class of Henley High School: Travis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee A. Klamath Airman Completes Course FIFTH AIR FORCE, Japan Serving with the U. S. Air Porce overseas, Airman Second Class David A. Moran, Klamath rails, recently completed a specialist's course 'in aircraft maintenance at Johnson Air Base. With trained technicians necessary to sen-ice the comntex aircraft in use today, the USAF has a series of schools throughout the world for special ized instruction.
