In their Initial basketball con tests the Grizzlies split with their opponents. In their first game, De cember 1, Gilchrist beat Lapine by a. score of 52-25. The. Junior high team lost their game-by a one point margin in the preliminary contest by the score of 28-27. December 3, Chiloquin whacked the Grizzlies by a one-sided score of 86-25. In the preliminary game the Chiloquin JVs beat the Gilchrist JVa by a score of 44-23. Mrs, Earl Redman at the organ For her wedding Leola chose a gold beige satin frock with dropped waistline and deep V beckline. Her I brocaded slippers matched her gewn. She wore a matching felt, off the face hat with satin trim and a corsage bf pink elf roses centered with a green orchid at the shoulder. Mrs. Lewis Phelps, Merrill, cous in of the bridegroom, her matron of honor wore a white knit suit with white accessories and a cor sage of pink carnations and rose buds at toe shoulder. Phelps Lewis was best mull. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Hathaway chose a navy suit with matching accessories and gar denias at the shoulder. Mrs. Grif fith wore a black faille ensemble with gardenias. Following a wedding" trip north the new Mr. and Mrs. Grilfith will return to Klamath Falls to 'maKO their home at 2226 Main Street. The crew is raisins the road level by haulaig dirt and gravel and covering up the bad places. While here the crew is siaymg at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Branch. Mrs. Floyd Branch entertained 11 ladies with a cosmetic party last week. The afternoon was spent socially. ' , Residents are reminded of the benciit dance at the Silver Lake schoolhouse gym.
